அவன் மாடுகளையும் கொழுத்த ஜந்துக்களையும் ஆடுகளையும் திரளாக அடித்து, ராஜாவின் குமாரர் அனைவரையும் ஆசாரியனாகிய அபியத்தாரையும், யோவாப் என்னும் படைத்தலைவனையும் அழைத்தான்; ஆனாலும் உமது அடியானாகிய சாலொமோனை அழைக்கவில்லை.

அவன் சமாதான விருந்தைக் கொடுக்கிறான். அவன் சமாதான பலிக்காக பல பசுக்களையும் சிறந்த ஆடுகளையும் கொன்றிருக்கிறான். அதற்கு அவன் உங்கள் அனைத்து மகன்களையும், ஆசாரியனான அபியத்தாரையும், தளபதியான யோவாபையும் அழைத்துள்ளான். ஆனால் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையுள்ள மகனான சாலொமோனை அழைக்கவில்லை.
