அவன் இன்றையதினம் போய், மாடுகளையும் கொழுத்த ஜந்துக்களையும் ஆடுகளையும் திரளாக அடித்து, ராஜாவின் குமாரர் அனைவரையும் இராணுவத்தலைவரையும், ஆசாரியனாகிய அபியத்தாரையும் அழைத்தான்; அவர்கள் அவனுக்கு முன்பாகப் புசித்துக் குடித்து, ராஜாவாகிய அதோனியா வாழ்க என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

அவன் இன்றையதினம் போய், மாடுகளையும் கொழுத்த கன்றுகளையும், ஆடுகளையும் மிகுதியாக அடித்து, ராஜாவின் மகன்கள் அனைவரையும் இராணுவத்தலைவர்களையும், ஆசாரியனாகிய அபியத்தாரையும் அழைத்தான்; அவர்கள் அவனுக்கு முன்பாக சாப்பிட்டுக் குடித்து, ராஜாவாகிய அதோனியா வாழ்க என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

ஏனென்றால் அவன் இன்று பள்ளத்தாக்குக்குப் போய், பல பசுக்களையும், ஆடுகளையும் சமாதானப் பலியாகக் கொடுத்துள்ளான். அதற்கு சாலொமோனைத் தவிர அனைத்து மகன்களையும் அழைத்துள்ளான். படைத் தலைவர்களும் ஆசாரியனான அபியத்தாரும் அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். அவனோடு அவர்கள், உண்டும் குடித்தும் மகிழ்கின்றனர். அவர்கள், ‘அதோனியா அரசன் நீண்டகாலம் வாழட்டும்!’ என்று வாழ்த்துகின்றனர்.

திருவிவிலியம்
ஏனெனில், அதோனியா இன்று இங்கிருந்து போய் மிகுதியான எருதுகளையும், கொழுத்த கன்றுகளையும் ஆடுகளையும் பலியிட்டிருக்கிறான். அரசரின் மைந்தர் அனைவரையும் படைத்தலைவராகிய யோவாபையும்* குருவாகிய அபியத்தாரையும் அதற்கு அழைத்திருக்கிறான். அவர்கள் அவனோடு உண்டு குடித்து ‘அரசர் அதோனியா வாழ்க!’ என்று முழங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.
