அப்பொழுது சாலொமோன்: அவன் யோக்கியன் என்று விளங்க நடந்து கொண்டால் அவன் தலைமயிரில் ஒன்றும் தரையிலே விழப்போகிறதில்லை; அவனிடத்தில் பொல்லாப்புக் காணப்படுமேயாகில், அவன் சாகவேண்டும் என்றான்.

எனவே சாலொமோன், “அதோனியா தன்னை நல்லவன் என்று காட்டினால், நான் அவனது தலையிலுள்ள ஒரு மயிருக்குக்கூட தீங்குச் செய்யமாட்டேன். அவனிடம் கேடு இருந்தால், அவன் மரிக்க வேண்டும்” என்று பதில் சொன்னான்.

fall	מִשַּֽׂעֲרָת֖וֹ	miśśaʿărātô	mee-sa-uh-ra-TOH
to the earth:	אָ֑רְצָה	ʾārĕṣâ	AH-reh-tsa
but if	וְאִם	wĕʾim	veh-EEM
wickedness	רָעָ֥ה	rāʿâ	ra-AH
shall be found	תִמָּֽצֵא	timmāṣēʾ	tee-MA-tsay
