அவனுக்காக இஸ்ரவேலரெல்லாரும் துக்கங்கொண்டாடி அவனை அடக்கம் பண்ணுவார்கள்; யெரொபெயாமின் வீட்டாரில் இஸ்ரவேலில் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக அவனிடத்திலே நல்ல காரியம் காணப்பட்டதினால், யெரொபெயாமில் சந்ததியில் அவன் ஒருவனே கல்லறைக்குட்படுவான்.

இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் அனைவரும் அவனுக்காக அழுது அடக்கம் செய்வார்கள். உன் குடும்பத்தில் அவன் மட்டுமே அடக்கம் செய்யப்படுவான். இஸ்ரவேலரின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு அவன் ஒருவன் மட்டுமே யெரொபெயாமின் குடும்பத்தில் பிடித்தமானவன் என்பதுதான் காரணம்.

அவனுக்காக இஸ்ரயேலர் அனைவரும் துக்கம் கொண்டாடி அவனை அடக்கம் செய்வர். எரொபவாமின் வீட்டில் அவன் ஒருவன் மட்டுமே இஸ்ரயேலின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவருக்கு உகந்தவனாய் இருந்ததால், அவன் மட்டும் கல்லறையில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்படுவான்.⒫
