யூதாஜனங்கள் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, தாங்கள் செய்துவருகிற தங்களுடைய பாவங்களினால் தங்கள் பிதாக்கள் செய்த எல்லாவற்றைப்பார்க்கிலும் அவருக்கு அதிக எரிச்சலை மூட்டினார்கள்.

யூதா மக்கள் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குத் தீங்கானதைச் செய்து, தாங்கள் செய்து வருகிற தங்களுடைய பாவங்களினால் தங்களுடைய பிதாக்கள் செய்த எல்லாவற்றையும்விட அவருக்கு அதிக எரிச்சலை மூட்டினார்கள்.

யூதாவிலுள்ள ஜனங்களும் பாவம் செய்தனர். அவர்களின் பாவம் அவர்களின் முற்பிதாக்களின் பாவத்தைவிட மிகுதியாயிற்று. இதனால் கர்த்தருக்கு அவர்கள் மீது கோபமும் மிகுதியானது.

யூதா நாட்டு மக்கள் ஆண்டவரின் பார்வையில் தீயதெனப்பட்டதைச் செய்தார்கள். அவர்கள் தம் மூதாதையர் செய்த எல்லாவற்றையும் விட, மிகுதியான பாவம் செய்து அவருக்குப் பொறாத சினத்தைக் கிளப்பினர்.⒫
