பாஷா தன் கைகளின் செய்கையால் கர்த்தருக்குக் கோபமுண்டாக்கி, அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செய்த எல்லாப் பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தமும், அவன் யெரொபெயாமின் வீட்டாரை வெட்டிப்போட்டதினிமித்தமும், இவர்களைப்போல் ஆவான் என்று அவனுக்கும் அவன் வீட்டுக்கும் விரோதமாக ஆனானியின் குமாரனாகிய யெகூ என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியினால் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை பின்னும் உண்டாயிற்று.

பாஷா தன்னுடைய கைகளின் செய்கையால் கர்த்தருக்குக் கோபமுண்டாக்கி, அவருடைய பார்வைக்குச் செய்த எல்லாத் தீமையினால், அவன் யெரொபெயாமின் வீட்டாரை வெட்டிப்போட்டதால், இவர்களைப்போல் ஆவான் என்று அவனுக்கும், அவனுடைய வீட்டுக்கும் எதிராக ஆனானியின் மகனாகிய யெகூ என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியினால் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை பின்னும் உண்டாயிற்று.

எனவே கர்த்தர், பாஷாவிற்கும் அவனது குடும்பத்திற்கும் எதிரான செய்திகளை ஆனானியின் மகனான யெகூ தீர்க்கதரிசி மூலம் சொன்னார். பாஷா கர்த்தருக்கு எதிராக மிகுந்தபாவம் செய்ததால் அவன் மீது கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் அதிகரித்தது. அவனுக்கு முன் யெரொபெயாம் குடும்பத்தினர் செய்தது போலவே பாஷா பாவங்களைச் செய்தான். பாஷா யெரொபெயாம் குடும்பத்தை அழித்ததாலும் கர்த்தருக்குக் கோபம் ஏற்பட்டது.

திருவிவிலியம்
ஆண்டவரின் பார்வையில் தீயதெனப்பட்டதைப் பாசா செய்ததாலும், எரொபவாமின் வீட்டை அடியோடு அழித்ததாலும் அவன் அவருக்குச் சினமூட்டினான். ஆகையால், அவர்களுக்கு நேர்ந்தது போலவே பாசாவுக்கும் அவன் குடும்பத்துக்கும் நேரும் என்று அனானியின் மகன் ஏகூ என்ற இறைவாக்கினர் மூலம் ஆண்டவரின் வாக்கு உரைக்கபட்டது.

And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.
