நீங்கள் உங்கள் தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைச் சொல்லிக் கூப்பிடுங்கள்; நான் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைச் சொல்லிக் கூப்ʠοடுவேன்; ŠΪ்பொழுது அக்கினியினால் உத்தரவு அருளும் தெய்வமே தெய்வம் என்றான்; அதற்கு ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் இது நல்ல வார்த்தை என்றார்கள்.

நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய தெய்வத்தின் நாமத்தைச் சொல்லிக் கூப்பிடுங்கள்; நான் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைச் சொல்லிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்; அப்பொழுது அக்கினியால் பதில் சொல்லும் தெய்வமே தெய்வம் என்றான்; அதற்கு மக்களெல்லோரும் இது நல்ல வார்த்தை என்றார்கள்.

பாகால் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளே, நீங்கள் உங்கள் தெய்வத்தை நோக்கி ஜெபியுங்கள். நான் என் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி ஜெபிப்பேன். அந்த ஜெபத்திற்கு செவிசாய்த்து விறகுகளைத்தானாக எரிய வைக்கிறவரே உண்மையான தேவன்” என்றான். இது நல்ல திட்டம் என அனைவரும் ஒப்புக் கொண்டனர்.

நீங்கள் உங்கள் தெய்வத்தின் பெயரைச் சொல்லி அழையுங்கள். நானோ ஆண்டவரின் பெயரைச் சொல்லி அழைப்பேன். அதற்கு நெருப்பு மூலம் பதிலளிக்கும் கடவுளே உண்மைக் கடவுள்” என்றார். மக்கள் அனைவரும் பதில்மொழியாக, “நீர் சொல்வது சரியே” என்றனர்.
