இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவும், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோசபாத்தும், சமாரியாவின் ஒலிமுகவாசலுக்கு முன்னிருக்கும் விசாலத்திலே ராஜவஸ்திரம் தரித்துக்கொண்டவர்களாய், அவரவர் தம்தம் சிங்காசனத்தில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்கள்; சகல தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொன்னார்கள்.

இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவும், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோசபாத்தும், சமாரியாவின் வாசலுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கும் திறந்த வெளியிலே ராஜஉடை அணிந்துகொண்டவர்களாக, அவரவர் தம்தம் சிங்காசனத்தில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்கள்; எல்லாத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொன்னார்கள்.

அப்போது இரு அரசர்களும் அரச உடையோடு சிங்காசனத்தில் இருந்தனர். இது சமாரியா அருகில் உள்ள நியாய மன்றம். தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் அவர்களுக்கு முன் நின்றுகொண்டு தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.

இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசனும், யூதாவின் அரசன் யோசபாத்தும் சமாரியாவின் வாயில் மண்டபத்தில் அரச உடை பூண்டு தம்தம் அரியணையில் வீற்றிருந்தனர். எல்லாப் பொய்வாக்கினரும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக வாக்குரைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.
