இவனைச் சிறைச்சாலையிலே வைத்து, நான் சமாதானத்தோடே வருமளவும், இவனுக்கு இடுக்கத்தின் அப்பத்தையும் இடுக்கத்தின் தண்ணீரையும் சாப்பிடக்கொடுங்கள் என்று ராஜா சொன்னார் என்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றான்.

நீங்கள், ‘அரசர் கூறுவது இதுவே; போரை முடித்து நலமாய் நான் திரும்பும் வரை இவனைச் சிறையில் அடைத்து வையுங்கள். இவனுக்குச் சிறிதளவு அப்பமும் தண்ணீருமே கொடுத்து வாருங்கள்” என்றும் கூறுங்கள்.
