அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா, யோசபாத்தை நோக்கி: கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரித்து அறிகிறதற்கு இம்லாவின் குமாரனாகிய மிகாயா என்னும் இன்னும் ஒருவன் இருக்கிறான்; ஆனாலும் நான் அவனைப் பகைக்கிறேன்; அவன் என்னைக் குறித்து நன்மையாக அல்ல, தீமையாகவே தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லுகிறவன் என்றான். அதற்கு யோசபாத், ராஜாவே, அப்படிச் சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா, யோசபாத்தை நோக்கி: கர்த்தரிடம் விசாரித்து அறிவதற்கு இம்லாவின் மகனாகிய மிகாயா என்னும் இன்னும் ஒருவன் இருக்கிறான்; ஆனாலும் நான் அவனைப் பகைக்கிறேன்; அவன் என்னைக்குறித்து நன்மையாக அல்ல, தீமையாகவே தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிறவன் என்றான். அதற்கு யோசபாத், ராஜாவே, அப்படிச் சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்றான்.

அதற்கு ஆகாப், “மற்றொரு தீர்க்கதரிசி இருக்கிறார். அவர் மூலம் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலோசனைகளைப் பெறலாம். அவரது பெயர் இம்லாவின் மகனான மிகாயா. எனக்கு எதிராகவே அவன் பேசுவதால் அவனை வெறுக்கிறேன். எப்போதும் எனக்கு விருப்பம் இல்லாததையே அவன் கூறுவான்” என்றான். யோசாபாத், “நீ அவ்வாறு சொல்லக்கூடாது!” என்றான்.

அப்போது இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசன் யோசபாத்தை நோக்கி, “இம்லாவின் மகன் மீக்காயா என்னும் ஒருவன் இருக்கிறான். அவன்மூலம் ஆண்டவரைக் கேட்டறிந்து கொள்ளலாம். ஆனால், அவனை நான் வெறுக்கிறேன். ஏனெனில், அவன் நல்லதையன்று, தீங்கானதையே எனக்கு இறைவாக்காய் உரைக்கிறான்” என்றான். அதற்கு யோசபாத்து, “அரசே! நீர் அப்படிச் சொல்ல வேண்டாம்” என்றான்.
