சாலொமோன் எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனோடே சம்பந்தங்கலந்து, பார்வோனின் குமாரத்தியை விவாகம்பண்ணி, தன்னுடைய அரமனையையும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தையும் எருசலேமின் சுற்றுமதிலையும் கட்டித் தீருமட்டும் அவன் அவளைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து வைத்தான்.

சாலொமோன், பார்வோன்எனும் எகிப்திய மன்னனோடு, ஒப்பந்தம் செய்து அவனது மகளை திருமணம் செய்துகொண்டான். சாலொமோன் அவளை தாவீது நகரத்திற்கு அழைத்து வந்தான். அப்போது, சாலொமோன் தனது அரண்மனையையும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தையும் கட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்தான். அவன் எருசலேமைச் சுற்றிலும் ஒரு சுவரையும் கட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.
