சாலொமோனுக்கு நித்திரை தெளிந்தபோது, அது சொப்பனம் என்று அறிந்தான்; அவன் எருசலேமுக்கு வந்து, கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாக நின்று, சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையிட்டு, சமாதானபலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, தன் ஊழியக்காரர் எல்லாருக்கும் விருந்துசெய்தான்.

சாலொமோனுக்கு தூக்கம் தெளிந்தபோது, அது கனவு என்று அறிந்தான்; அவன் எருசலேமுக்கு வந்து, கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாக நின்று, சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளை செலுத்தி, சமாதானபலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, தன்னுடைய வேலைக்காரர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் விருந்தளித்தான்.

சாலொமோன் விழித்தபொழுது, கனவிலே தேவன் பேசினார் என்று அவனுக்குத் தெரிந்தது. பின் அவன் எருசலேம் போய் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியின் முன்பு நின்று கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலியைச் செலுத்தினான். கர்த்தருக்குத் சமாதான பலியையும் தந்தான். பின், அவன் தன் ஆட்சிக்கு உதவும் தலைவர்களுக்கும் அதிகாரிகளுக்கும் விருந்துகொடுத்தான்.

சாலமோன் கனவினின்று விழித்தெழுந்தார். பின்னர், எருசலேமுக்குப் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்று ஆண்டவரின் உடன்படிக்கைப் பேழையின்முன் நின்று எரிபலிகளையும் நல்லுறவுப் பலிகளையும் செலுத்தினார். பின் தம் அலுவலர் அனைவருக்கும் பெரும் விருந்து அளித்தார்.
