ராஜா உயிரோடிருக்கிற பிள்ளையை இரண்டாகப் பிளந்து, பாதியை இவளுக்கும் பாதியை அவளுக்கும் கொடுங்கள் என்றான்.

அவ்வாறே அவர்கள் அரசரிடம் ஒரு வாள் கொண்டு வந்தனர். பிறகு அரசர், “உயிரோடிருக்கும் குழந்தையை இரண்டாக வெட்டி, ஒரு பாதியை ஒருத்தியிடமும் மறு பாதியை மற்றொருத்தியிடமும் கொடுங்கள்” என்றார்.⒫
