அப்படியே ராஜா பலியிட கிபியோனுக்குப் போனான்; அது பெரிய மேடையாயிருந்தது; அந்தப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் சாலொமோன் ஆயிரம் சர்வாங்க தகன பலிகளைச் செலுத்தினான்.

ஒருநாள் அரசர் பலி செலுத்துமாறு கிபயோனுக்குச் சென்றார். அங்கேதான் மிக முக்கியமான தொழுகைமேடு இருந்தது. அங்கிருந்த பலிபீடத்தின் மேல்தான் சாலமோன் ஆயிரம் எரிபலிகளைச் செலுத்தியிருந்தார்.
