அதற்குச் சாலொமோன் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது என்னும் உமது அடியான் உம்மைப்பற்றி உண்மையும் நீதியும் மன நேர்மையுமாய் உமக்கு முன்பாக நடந்தபடியே தேவரீர் அவருக்குப் பெரிய கிருபைசெய்து, அந்தப் பெரிய கிருபையை அவருக்குக் காத்து, இந்நாளில் இருக்கிறபடியே அவருடைய சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிற ஒரு குமாரனை அவருக்குத் தந்தீர்.

அதற்கு சாலொமோன்: என்னுடைய தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது என்னும் உமது அடியான் உம்மைப்பற்றி உண்மையும் நீதியும் செம்மையான இருதயத்தோடும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நடந்தபடியே தேவரீர் அவருக்குப் பெரிய கிருபைசெய்து, அந்தப் பெரிய கிருபையை அவருக்குக் காத்து, இந்த நாளில் இருக்கிறபடியே அவருடைய சிங்காசனத்தில் அமர்ந்திருக்கிற ஒரு மகனை அவருக்குத் தந்தீர்.

சாலொமோனும், “உங்கள் ஊழியனான என் தந்தை தாவீதிடம் நீர் மிகுந்த கருணையுடன் இருந்தீர். அவரும் உம்மை பின்பற்றினார். அவர் நல்லவராகவும் சரியானவராகவும் வாழ்ந்தார். அவரது மகனை அவருக்குப் பின் சிங்காசனத்தில் அமர வைத்ததன் மூலம் கருணையைக் காட்டிவிட்டீர்.

அதற்குச் சாலமோன், “உம் அடியாராகிய என் தந்தை தாவீது உமது பார்வையில் உண்மையுடனும் நீதியுடனும் நேரிய உள்ளத்துடனும் நடந்து கொண்டார். அதனால் நீர் அவருக்குப் பேரன்பு காட்டினீர். அந்தப் பேரன்பை அவருக்கு என்றும் காட்டி வந்து, இன்று அவரது அரியணையில் வீற்றிருக்கும் மகனை அவருக்குத் தந்தீர்.
