ஆகையால் உமது ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரிக்கவும், நன்மைதீமை இன்னதென்று வகையறுக்கவும், அடியேனுக்கு ஞானமுள்ள இருதயத்தைத் தந்தருளும்; ஏராளமாயிருக்கிற இந்த உமது ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரிக்க யாராலே ஆகும் என்றான்.

எனவே எனக்கு ஞானத்தைத்தருமாறு கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன். அதனால் நான் ஜனங்களைச் சிறப்பாக ஆளவும் சரியான வழியில் நியாயந்தீர்க்கவும் இயலும். இது நான் நல்லதுக்கும் தீமைக்குமான வேறுபாட்டை அறிந்துக்கொள்ளச் செய்யும். மிகப் பெரிய இந்த ஞானம் இல்லாமல் அதிக எண்ணிக்கையில் உள்ள மனிதர்களை ஆள்வது முடியாத செயல்” என்று வேண்டினான்.
