ஆலயத்தின் உட்புறத்தைச் சாலொமோன் பசும்பொன் தகட்டால் மூடி, சந்நிதி ஸ்தானத்தின் மறைப்புக்கும் பொன் சங்கிலிகளைக் குறுக்கே போட்டு, அதைப் பொன் தகட்டால் மூடினான்.

சாலொமோன் இந்த அறையைச் சுத்தமான தங்கத்தால் மூடினான். அவன் நறுமணப்பொருட்களை எரிக்கும் பலிபீடத்தை கட்டினான். அவன் பலிபீடத்தையும் தங்கத் தகடுகளால் மூடி பொன் சங்கிலிகளைக் குறுக்காகத் தொங்கவிட்டான் அந்த அறையில் இரண்டு கேருபீன்களின் உருவங்கள் இருந்தன. அவை தங்கத்தால் மூடப்பட்டவை.
