இவ்விதமாய் ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்காகச் செய்த வேலைகளெல்லாம் முடிந்தது; அப்பொழுது சாலொமோன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணும்படி நேர்ந்துகொண்ட வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் பணிமுட்டுகளையும் கொண்டுவந்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் பொக்கிஷங்களில் வைத்தான்.

இப்படியாக ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்காகச் செய்த வேலைகளெல்லாம் முடிந்தது; அப்பொழுது சாலொமோன் தன்னுடைய தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது பரிசுத்தம்செய்யும்படி நேர்ந்துகொண்ட வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் பணிப்பொருட்களையும் கொண்டுவந்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் பொக்கிஷங்களில் வைத்தான்.

இவ்வாறு கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குத் தேவையான பொருட்களை சாலொமோன் செய்து முடித்தான். பிறகு தனது தந்தை தாவீது சேர்த்து வைத்திருந்தப் பொருட்களையெல்லாம் ஆலயத்துக்காக ஒன்றாகச் சேர்த்தான். இவை அனைத்தையும் ஆலயத்திற்குள் கொண்டுவந்தான். வெள்ளி, பொன் முதலியவற்றையெல்லாம் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் இருந்து பொக்கிஷத்தில் சேர்த்துவைத்தான்.

இவ்வாறு, அரசர் சாலமோன் ஆண்டவரின் இல்லத்திற்காகச் செய்த பணிகள் அனைத்தும் முடிவடைந்தன. மேலும், சாலமோன் தம் தந்தை தாவீது அர்ப்பணித்திருந்த வெள்ளி, பொன், துணைக்கலன்கள் ஆகியவற்றைக் கொண்டு வந்து ஆண்டவரின் இல்லத்துக் கருவூலத்தில் வைத்தார்.

So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD.
