அக்காலத்தில்தானே சாலொமோனும், ஆமாத்தின் எல்லைதொடங்கி எகிப்தின் நதிமட்டும் இருந்துவந்து, அவனோடே இருந்த பெரிய கூட்டமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தும் நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் ஏழு நாளும், அதற்குப் பின்பு வேறே ஏழு நாளும், ஆகப் பதினாலு நாள்வரைக்கும் பண்டிகையை ஆசரித்தார்கள்.

ஆலயத்தில் சாலொமோனும் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களும் விடுமுறையைக் கொண்டாடினார்கள். அனைத்து இஸ்ரவேலர்களும் ஆமாத்தின் எல்லை தொடங்கி எகிப்தின் நதி மட்டுமுள்ள ஜனங்களும் அங்கே இருந்தனர். அவர்கள் ஏழு நாட்கள் உண்பதும் குடிப்பதும் கர்த்தருடன் சேர்ந்து மகிழ்வதுமாக இருந்தனர். அவர்கள் மேலும் 7 நாட்கள் இருந்தனர். மொத்தம் 14 நாட்கள் கொண்டாடினர்.
