இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் ஒருவரையும் சாலொமோன் அடிமைப்படுத்தவில்லை; அவர்கள் யுத்தமனுஷரும், அவனுக்குப் பணிவிடைக்காரரும், பிரபுக்களும், சேர்வைக்காரரும், இரதவீரரும், குதிரைவீரருமாயிருந்தார்கள்.

ஆனால், இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுள் ஒருவரையும் சாலமோன் அடிமையாக்கவில்லை; அவர்கள் போர்வீரர், மெய்க்காப்பாளர், மேற்பார்வையாளர், படைத்தலைவர், தேர்ப்படைவீரர், குதிரைப்படை வீரர் ஆகியோராய் அமர்த்தப்பட்டனர்.⒫
