“ஆனால் நீயோ அல்லது உன் பிள்ளைகளோ என்னைப் பின்பற்றாமல், நான் உனக்குத் தந்த சட்டங்களுக்கும், கட்டளைகளுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படியாமல், அந்நிய தெய்வங்களை தொழுதுகொள்வீர்களேயானால், நான் உங்களுக்குத் தந்த இந்த நாட்டைவிட்டு வெளியேற்றுவேன். மற்ற எல்லா தேசங்களின் ஜனங்களும் இஸ்ரவேலர்களை எண்ணி நகைக்கக்கூடாது. நான் ஆலயத்தைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கினேன். இந்த இடத்தில் ஜனங்கள் என்னை மகிமைப்படுத்தலாம். ஆனால் நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாவிட்டால் உங்களை விலக்குவேன்.
