அப்பொழுது உன்னதமாயிருக்கிற இந்த ஆலயத்தைக் கடந்துபோகிறவன் எவனும் பிரமித்து, பகிடியாய் ஈசலிட்டு; கர்த்தர் இந்த தேசத்துக்கும் இந்த ஆலயத்துக்கும் இப்படிச் செய்தது என்ன? என்று கேட்பார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது உன்னதமாயிருக்கிற இந்த ஆலயத்தைக் கடந்து போகிறவன் எவனும் பிரமித்து, இழிவாகப் பேசி: கர்த்தர் இந்த தேசத்திற்கும் இந்த ஆலயத்திற்கும் இப்படிச் செய்தது என்ன? என்று கேட்பார்கள்.

இந்த ஆலயம் அழிக்கப்படும். இதைப் பார்க்கிறவர்கள் வியப்பார்கள். ‘இந்த நாட்டையும் ஆலயத்தையும் ஏன் கர்த்தர் இவ்வாறு செய்தார்?’ என்பார்கள்.

இக்கோவில் இடிந்த கற்குவியல்* ஆகும். அதைக் கடந்து செல்லும் எவனும் திகிலடைவான்; சீழ்க்கையடித்து இகழ்ச்சியாய்ப்பேசி ‘ஆண்டவர் இந்நாட்டுக்கும் இக்கோவிலுக்கும் இப்படிச் செய்தது ஏன்?’ என்று கேட்பான்.
