ஏனெனில், கிறிஸ்துவும் நம்மைத் தேவனிடத்தில் சேர்க்கும்படி அநீதியுள்ளவர்களுக்குப் பதிலாக நீதியுள்ளவராய்ப் பாவங்களினிமித்தம் ஒருதரம் பாடுபட்டார்; அவர் மாம்சத்திலே கொலையுண்டு, ஆவியிலே உயிர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டார்.

ஏனென்றால், கிறிஸ்துவும் நம்மை தேவனிடம் சேர்ப்பதற்காக அநீதியுள்ளவர்களுக்குப் பதிலாக நீதி உள்ளவராகப் பாவங்களுக்காக ஒருமுறை பாடுகள் பட்டார்; அவர் சரீரத்திலே கொலை செய்யப்பட்டு, ஆவியிலே உயிர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டார்.

ஏனெனில் ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக நம் பாவங்களுக்காக கிறிஸ்துவும் மரித்தார். குற்றம் நிறைந்த மனிதர்களுக்காக பாவமேயில்லாத அவர் இறந்தார். இதன்மூலம் உங்களை தேவனிடம் வழிகாட்டினார். இயற்கையான மனித வாழ்வில் அவர் மரணமடைய நேரிட்டது. ஆனால் உயர்ந்த ஆன்மீக நிலையில் அவர் மீண்டும் எழுப்பப்பட்டார்.

கிறிஸ்துவும் உங்கள் பாவங்களின் பொருட்டு ஒரே முறையாக இறந்தார். அவர் உங்களைக் கடவுளிடம் கொண்டு சேர்க்கவே இறந்தார்.* நீதியுள்ளவராகிய அவர் நீதியற்றவர்களுக்காக இறந்தார். மனித இயல்போடிருந்த அவர் இறந்தாரெனினும் ஆவிக்குரிய இயல்புடையவராய் உயிர் பெற்றெழுந்தார்.⒫
