அவர்கள் அதிகாலையில் எழுந்து, கர்த்தரைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு, ராமாவிலிருக்கிற தங்கள் வீட்டுக்குத் திரும்பிப்போனார்கள்; எல்க்கானா தன்மனைவியாகிய அன்னாளை அறிந்தான்; கர்த்தர் அவளை நினைந்தருளினார்.

மறுநாள் அதிகாலையில் எல்க்கானாவின் குடும்பம் எழுந்து கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொண்ட பிறகு ராமாவிலுள்ள தங்கள் வீட்டிற்கு திரும்பிப் போனார்கள். எல்க்கானா தன் மனைவியான அன்னாளோடு பாலின உறவுகொண்டான், கர்த்தர் அன்னாளை நினைவுக்கூர்ந்தார்.

அவர்கள் காலையில் எழுந்து ஆண்டவர் திருமுன் வழிபட்டுவிட்டுத் திரும்பிச்சென்று இராமாவில் இருந்த தங்கள் இல்லம் அடைந்தனர். எல்கானா தம் மனைவி அன்னாவோடு கூடி வாழ்ந்தார். ஆண்டவரும் அவரை நினைவு கூர்ந்தார்.
