எபிரெயரில் சிலர் யோர்தானையும் கடந்து, காத் நாட்டிற்கும் கீலேயாத்தேசத்திற்கும் போனார்கள்; சவுலோ இன்னும் கில்காலில் இருந்தான்; சகல ஜனங்களும் பயந்துகொண்டு அவனுக்குப் பின்சென்றார்கள்.

எபிரேயர் சிலர் யோர்தனைக் கடந்து காத்து, கிலயாது நாடுகளுக்குச் சென்றனர். சவுல் இன்னும் கில்காலில் இருந்தார். மக்கள் அனைவரும் நடுங்கிக் கொண்டே அவரைப் பின்சென்றனர்.⒫
