எனவே, கர்த்தர் அன்று இஸ்ரவேலரை காப்பாற்றினார். அச்சண்டை பெத்தாவேனைக் கடந்தது. சவுலிடம் இப்போது 10,000 வீரர்களும் முழுபடையும் இருந்தனர். மலைநாட்டில் உள்ள அனைத்து நகரங்களுக்கும் இந்தப் போர் பரவியது.
