ஏலி எல்க்கானாவையும் அவன் மனைவியையும் ஆசீர்வதித்து: இந்த ஸ்திரீ கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஒப்புக்கொடுத்ததற்குப் பதிலாகக் கர்த்தர் உனக்கு அவளாலே சந்தானம் கட்டளையிடுவாராக என்றான்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் ஸ்தானத்திற்குத் திரும்பப் போய்விட்டார்கள்.

ஏலி எல்க்கானாவையும் அவனுடைய மனைவியையும் ஆசீர்வதித்து: இந்த பெண் கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஒப்புக் கொடுத்ததற்குப் பதிலாகக் கர்த்தர் உனக்கு அவளாலே அனேகம் பிள்ளைகளைக் கொடுப்பாராக என்றான்; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய இடத்திற்குத் திரும்பப் போய்விட்டார்கள்.

ஏலி, எல்க்கானாவையும் அவனது மனைவியையும் ஆசீர்வதித்தான். அவன், “அன்னாள் மூலமாக கர்த்தர் மேலும் பல குழந்தைகளைத் தரட்டும். கர்த்தரிடம் ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டபடி, அவருக்கே அளிக்கப்பட்ட அன்னாளின் மகனுடைய இடத்தை இந்த பிள்ளைகள் பிறந்து நிரப்பட்டும்” என்றான். எல்க்கானாவும், அன்னாளும் வீட்டிற்குத் திரும்பினார்கள்.

எல்கானாவுக்கும் அவர் மனைவிக்கும் ஏலி ஆசி வழங்கி எல்கானாவை நோக்கி, “ஆண்டவர் இப்பெண் வழியாக, இவள் அவருக்கு நேர்ந்தளித்தவனுக்குப் பதிலாக, உனக்கு வழிமரபை அருள்வாராக” என்று கூறுவார். பிறகு அவர்கள் தங்கள் ஊருக்குத் திரும்பிச் செல்வர்.
