அவள் தனக்குக் கொண்டுவந்ததைத் தாவீது அவள் கையிலே வாங்கி கொண்டு, அவளைப் பார்த்து: நீ சமாதானத்தோடே உன் வீட்டுக்குப் போ; இதோ, நான் உன் சொல்லைக்கேட்டு, உன் முகத்தைப் பார்த்து, இப்படிச் செய்தேன் என்றான்.

பிறகு தாவீது, அபிகாயிலின் அன்பளிப்புகளை ஏற்றக்கொண்டான். அவளிடம், “வீட்டிற்குச் சமாதானமாகப் போ. உனது வேண்டுகோளை ஏற்று உன் விருப்பபடியே செய்வேன்” என்றான்.

பின்பு, அபிகாயில் தமக்குக் கொண்டு வந்ததை தாவீது அவரிடம் இருந்து பெற்றுக் கொண்டு, அவரை நோக்கி, “சமாதானத்துடன் நீ உன் வீட்டுக்குப் போ! உனக்குச் செவி கொடுத்து உன் வேண்டுதலை நிறைவேற்றியுள்ளேன்” என்றார்.⒫
