அத்திப்பழ அடையின் ஒரு துண்டையும், வற்றலான இரண்டு திராட்சப்பழக் குலைகளையும் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அதை அவன் சாப்பிட்ட பின்பு, அவனுடைய உயிர் திரும்ப அவனுக்குள் வந்தது. அவன் இராப்பகல் மூன்றுநாளாய் அப்பம் சாப்பிடாமலும் தண்ணீர் குடியாமலும் இருந்தான்.

அத்திப்பழ அடையின் ஒரு துண்டையும், உலர்ந்த இரண்டு திராட்சைப்பழக் குலைகளையும் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அதை அவன் சாப்பிட்டபின்பு, அவனுடைய உயிர் திரும்ப அவனுக்குள் வந்தது. அவன் இரவு பகல் மூன்று நாளாக அப்பம் சாப்பிடாமலும் தண்ணீர் குடிக்காமலும் இருந்தான்.

அவர்கள் அவனுக்கு அத்திப் பழ அடையின் ஒரு துண்டையும் வற்றலான இரண்டு திராட்சைக் குலைகளையும் தின்ன கொடுத்தனர். அதை உண்டு அவன் சிறிது பெலன் பெற்றான். அவன் மூன்று நாட்கள் இரவும் பகலும் உண்ணாமல் இருந்தப்படியால் மிகவும் பலவீனமாக இருந்தான்.

மேலும், அவர்கள் அத்திப்பழ அடையின் ஒரு துண்டையும், வற்றலான திராட்சைப்பழ அடைகள் இரண்டையும் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தனர். அவன் இவற்றைச் சாப்பிட்டபின் புத்துயிர் பெற்றான். ஏனெனில், அவன் இரவு பகல் மூன்று நாளாய் அப்பம் உண்ணாமலும், தண்ணீர் குடிக்காமலும் இருந்தான்.
