அப்படியிருந்தும், நித்திய ஜீவனை அடையும்படி இனிமேல் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருப்பவர்களுக்குத் திருஷ்டாந்தம் உண்டாகும்பொருட்டுப் பிரதான பாவியாகிய என்னிடத்தில் அவர் எல்லா நீடிய பொறுமையையும் காண்பிக்கும்படிக்கு இரக்கம்பெற்றேன்.

அப்படி இருந்தும், நித்தியஜீவனை அடைவதற்காக இனிமேல் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவிடம் விசுவாசமாக இருப்பவர்களுக்கு மாதிரியாக இருக்கும்படிக்கு மோசமான பாவியாகிய என்னிடத்தில் அவர் எல்லா நீடிய பொறுமையையும் காண்பிக்கும்படி இரக்கம்பெற்றேன்.

ஆனால் எனக்குக் கருணை அளிக்கப்பட்டது. அதனால் என் மூலம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து எல்லையற்ற பொறுமை உடையவர் என்று புலப்படுத்திவிட்டார். கிறிஸ்து தனது பொறுமையை எல்லா பாவிகளிலும் மோசமான என்னிடம் காட்டினார். அவரை விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்கள் நித்திய வாழ்வைப் பெறுவர் என்பதற்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டாக நான் இருக்கும்படியாகக் கிறிஸ்து விரும்பினார்.

ஆயினும் கடவுள் எனக்கு இரங்கினார். நிலைவாழ்வை அடைய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ள இருப்போருக்கு நான் முன்மாதிரியாய் விளங்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக முதன்முதலில் என்னிடம் தம் முழுப் பொறுமையைக் காட்டினார்.
