தாமதிப்பேனாகில், தேவனுடைய வீட்டிலே நடக்கவேண்டிய வகையை நீ அறியும்படி இவைகளை உனக்கு எழுதுகிறேன்; அந்த வீடு ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய சபையாய்ச் சத்தியத்துக்குத் தூணும் ஆதாரமுமாயிருக்கிறது.

தாமதிப்பேன் என்றால், தேவனுடைய வீட்டிலே நடக்கவேண்டிய முறையை நீ அறியும்படி இவைகளை உனக்கு எழுதுகிறேன்; அந்த வீடு ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய சபையாய்ச் சத்தியத்திற்குத் தூணும் ஆதாரமுமாக இருக்கிறது.

பிறகு நான் விரைவில் வராவிட்டாலும் தேவனுடைய குடும்பத்தில் என்னென்ன செய்யவேண்டும் என்பது குறித்து நீங்கள் தெரிந்துகொள்வீர்கள். தேவனுடைய குடும்பம் என்பது ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனின் சபைதான். உண்மையின் தூணாகவும் அடித்தளமாகவும் சபை இருக்கிறது.

நான் வரக் காலந்தாழ்த்தினால், நீ கடவுளின் வீட்டாரிடம் எவ்வாறு நடந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பதை இத்திருமுகத்தின் வழியாகத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். இவ்வீட்டாரே வாழும் கடவுளின் திருச்சபை; இத்திருச்சபை உண்மைக்குத் தூணும் அடித்தளமுமாய் இருக்கிறது.
