ராஜா எருசலேமிலே வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் கற்கள்போலவும், கேதுருமரங்களைப் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் இருக்கிற காட்டத்திமரங்கள் போலவும் அதிகமாக்கினான்.

எருசலேமில் சாலொமோன் ஏராளமாகத் தங்கத்தையும் வெள்ளியையும் சேகரித்தான். அங்கே பொன்னும் வெள்ளியும் கற்களைப் போன்று ஏராளமாகக் குவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன. சாலொமோன் கேதுருமரங்களையும் ஏராளமாகச் சேகரித்தான். அவை மேற்கு மலைபள்ளத் தாக்கில் உள்ள காட்டத்தி மரங்களைப் போன்று ஏராளமாக இருந்தன.

வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் கற்களைப்போன்றும், கேதுரு மரங்கள் சமவெளிப் பகுதிகளில் வளரும் அத்தி மரங்களைப் போன்றும் எருசலேமில் ஏராளமாகக் கிடைக்கும்படி அரசர் செய்தார்.
