யூதாவும் பென்யமீனும் அவன் பட்சத்திலிருக்க, ஒவ்வொரு பட்டணத்திலும் பரிசைகளையும் ஈட்டிகளையும் வைத்து, அவைகளை மிகுதியும் பலப்படுத்தினான்.

அந்தப் பாதுகாப்புகளைப் பலப்படுத்தி, அவைகளிலே தலைவரையும், ஆகாரமும் எண்ணெயும் திராட்சைரசமும் உள்ள சேமிப்பு அறைகளையும்,

ரெகொபெயாம் இவற்றைப் பலப்படுத்திய பிறகு அவற்றில் தலைவர்களை நியமித்தான். அவர்களுக்கு உணவு, எண்ணெய், திராட்சைரசம் போன்றவற்றை விநியோகித்தான்.

அவன் நகர்க்கோட்டைகளை வலுப்படுத்தி, அவற்றுக்குத் தளபதிகளை நியமித்தான்; உணவுப் பொருள்கள், எண்ணெய், திராட்சை இரசம் போன்றவற்றுக்கான கிடங்குகளையும் ஏற்படுத்தினான்.
