நீங்கள் ஆரோனின் குமாரராகிய கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியரையும் லேவியரையும் தள்ளிவிட்டு, தேசாதேசங்களின் ஜனங்களைப்போல உங்களுக்கு ஆசாரியர்களை உண்டுபண்ணவில்லையோ? இளங்காளையினாலும், ஏழு கடாக்களினாலும், தன்னைப் பிரதிஷ்டையாக்கும்படி வருகிற எவனும் தெய்வம் அல்லாதவைகளுக்கு ஆசாரியனாகிறானே.

நீங்கள் ஆரோனின் மகன்களாகிய கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியர்களையும், லேவியர்களையும் தள்ளிவிட்டு, தேசாதேசங்களின் மக்களைப்போல உங்களுக்கு ஆசாரியர்களை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவில்லையோ? இளங்காளையினாலும், ஏழு கடாக்களினாலும், தன்னைப் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்துகொள்ள வருகிற எவனும் தெய்வம் அல்லாதவைகளுக்கு ஆசாரியனாகிறானே.

நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியர்களையும், லேவியர்களையும் விரட்டிவிட்டீர்கள். ஆசாரியர்கள் அனைவரும் ஆரோனின் சந்ததியினர். நீங்கள் உங்கள் ஆசாரியர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக்கொண்டீர்கள். இதைத்தான் மற்ற நாட்டினரும் செய்கின்றனர். ஒரு காளைக் கன்றுக்குட்டியுடன் அல்லது ஏழு செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களுடன் தன்னைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள வருகிற எவனும் ‘தெய்வங்கள் இல்லாத உருவச்சிலைகளுக்கு’ ஆசாரியனாகலாம்.
