சில வருஷங்கள் சென்றபின்பு, சமாரியாவிலிருக்கிற ஆகாபிடத்துக்குப் போனான்; அப்பொழுது ஆகாப் அவனுக்கும் அவனோடிருக்கிற ஜனத்திற்கும் அநேகம் ஆடுமாடுகளை அடிப்பித்து, கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்திற்கு வரும்படி அவனை ஏவினான்.

சில வருடங்கள் சென்றபின்பு, சமாரியாவிலிருக்கிற ஆகாபிடம் போனான்; அப்பொழுது ஆகாப் அவனுக்கும் அவனோடிருக்கிற மக்களுக்கும் அநேகம் ஆடுமாடுகளை அடிப்பித்து, கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்திற்கு வரும்படி அவனை இணங்கச் செய்தான்.

சில ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு யோசபாத் ஆகாபைப் பார்க்க சமாரியா நகரத்திற்குச் சென்றான். ஆகாப் பல ஆடுகளையும் பசுக்களையும் பலி கொடுத்தான். யோசபாத்துக்கும் அவனோடு உள்ள ஜனங்களுக்கும் அவற்றைக் கொடுத்தான். ஆகாப் யோசபாத்திடம் ராமோத் கிலியாத்தைத் தாக்கும்படி உற்சாகப்படுத்தினான்.

சில ஆண்டுகளுக்குப்பின், ஆகாபைச் சந்திக்க அவர் சமாரியா சென்றார். மிகுதியான ஆடுமாடுகளை அடித்து அவருக்கும் அவர் ஆள்களுக்கும் விருந்தளித்த ஆகாபு இராமோத்து-கிலயாதிற்கு எதிராகக் கிளர்ச்சி செய்யுமாறு அவரைத் தூண்டினான்.⒫
