இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா யோசபாத்தைப் பார்த்து நான் வேஷமாறி யுத்தத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பேன்; நீரோ ராஜவஸ்திரம் தரித்திரும் என்று சொல்லி, இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா வேஷமாறி யுத்தத்தில் பிரவேசித்தான்.

ஆகாப் அரசன் யோசபாத்திடம், “நான் போர்க்களத்திற்குள் நுழையுமுன் என் தோற்றத்தை மாற்றிக்கொள்வேன். ஆனால் நீ உனது உடையையே அணிந்துகொள்” என்றான். எனவே இஸ்ரவேலின் அரசனாகிய ஆகாப் தன் ஆடையை மாற்றிக்கொண்டான். இருவரும் போர்க்களத்துக்குச் சென்றார்கள்.

இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசன், யோசபாத்தை நோக்கி, “நான் மாறுவேடத்தில் போருக்குச் செல்வேன்; நீரோ உம் அரச உடைகளை அணிந்து வாரும்” என்று சொல்லிவிட்டு, மாறு வேடத்தில் போருக்குச் சென்றான்.⒫
