அவர்கள் யூதாவில் வந்து, பலாத்காரமாய்ப் புகுந்து, ராஜாவின் அரமனையில் அகப்பட்ட எல்லாப் பொருள்களையும், அவன் பிள்ளைகளையும், அவன் மனைவிகளையும் பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள்; யோவாகாஸ் என்னும் அவன் குமாரரில் இளையவனை அல்லாமல் ஒரு குமாரனும் அவனுக்கு மீதியாக வைக்கப்படவில்லை.

அவர்கள் யூதாவில் வந்து, வலுக்கட்டாயமாகப் புகுந்து, ராஜாவின் அரண்மனையில் கிடைத்த அனைத்துப் பொருட்களையும், அவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளையும், மனைவிகளையும் பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள்; யோவாகாஸ் என்னும் அவனுடைய இளைய மகனைத் தவிர வேறொரு மகனையும் அவனுக்கு மீதியாக விடவில்லை.

அவர்கள் யூதா நாட்டைத் தாக்கினார்கள். அரசனது வீட்டிற்குச் சொந்தமான அனைத்துச் செல்வங்களையும் அவர்கள் எடுத்துச் சென்றார்கள். யோராமின் மனைவிகளையும் பிள்ளைகளையும் கைப்பற்றினர். யோராமின் இளைய மகன் மட்டும் விடப்பட்டான். அவனது பெயர் யோவாகாஸ்.
