அவர்களுடைய தகப்பன் வெள்ளியும், பொன்னும் உச்சிதங்களுமான அநேகம் நன்கொடைகளையும் யூதாவிலே அரணான பட்டணங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்; யோராம் சேஷ்டபுத்திரனானபடியால், அவனுக்கு ராஜ்யத்தைக் கொடுத்தான்.

அவர்களுடைய தகப்பன் வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் விலைமதிப்பான அநேகம் நன்கொடைகளையும், யூதாவிலே பாதுகாப்பான பட்டணங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்; யோராம் முதற்பிறந்தவனாக இருந்ததால், அவனுக்கு ஆட்சியைக் கொடுத்தான்.

யோசபாத் தன் மகன்களுக்கு வெள்ளி, பொன், விலையுயர்ந்த பொருட்கள் என்று பல பரிசுகளைக் கொடுத்தான். பலமான கோட்டைகளையும் அவர்களின் பொறுப்பில் விட்டான். ஆனால் அவன் தனது ஆட்சியை யோராமிடம் கொடுத்தான். ஏனென்றால் அவன்தான் மூத்த மகன்.

அவர்களுடைய தந்தை பொன், வெள்ளி அன்பளிப்புகளையும், விலையேறப்பெற்ற பொருள்களையும் யூதாவின் அரண்சூழ் நகர்களையும் அவர்களுக்கு அளித்தார். யோராம் தலைமகனானதால், அவருக்கு அரசையே அளித்தார்.
