அவன் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் வழியிலே நடந்து, ஆகாபின் வீட்டார் செய்ததுபோலச் செய்தான்; ஆகாபின் குமாரத்தி அவனுக்கு மனைவியாயிருந்தாள்; அவன் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.

இஸ்ரவேல் அரசர்களின் வழியிலேயே அவனும் ஆண்டான். ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தைப் போன்றே அவனும் வாழ்ந்தான். ஏனென்றால் அவன் ஆகாபின் மகளை மணந்திருந்தான். கர்த்தருடைய பார்வையில் யோராம் தீயவற்றைச் செய்தான்.
