ராஜாவின் குமாரத்தியாகிய யோசேபியாத், கொன்றுபோடப்படுகிற ராஜகுமாரருக்குள் இருக்கிற அகசியாவின் ஆண்பிள்ளையாகிய யோவாசைக் களவாயெடுத்துக்கொண்டு, அவனையும் அவன் தாதியையும் சயனவீட்டிலே வைத்தாள்; அப்படியே அத்தாலியாள் அவனைக் கொன்றுபோடாதபடிக்கு, ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் குமாரத்தியும் ஆசாரியனாகிய யோய்தாவின் பெண்ஜாதியுமாகிய யோசேபியாத் அவனை ஒளித்துவைத்தாள், அவள் அகசியாவின் சகோதரியாயிருந்தாள்.

ராஜாவின் மகளாகிய யோசேபியாத், கொன்று போடப்படுகிற ராஜகுமாரர்களுக்குள் இருக்கிற அகசியாவின் ஆண்பிள்ளையாகிய யோவாசை ஒருவருக்கும் தெரியாமல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, அவனையும் அவன் வேலைக்காரியையும் படுக்கையறையில் வைத்தாள்; அப்படியே அத்தாலியாள் அவனைக் கொன்றுபோடாமலிருக்க, ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் மகளும் ஆசாரியனாகிய யோய்தாவின் மனைவியுமாகிய யோசேபியாத் அவனை ஒளித்துவைத்தாள்; அவள் அகசியாவின் சகோதரியாக இருந்தாள்.

ஆனால் யோசேபியாத் அகசியாவின் மகனான யோவாசை எடுத்து மறைத்து வைத்தாள். அவள் யோவாசையும் அவனது தாதிகளையும் படுக்கையறைக்குள்ளே ஒளித்தாள். யோசேபியாத் யோராம் அரசனின் மகள். அவள் யோய்தாவின் மனைவி. யோய்தா ஒரு ஆசாரியன். யோசேபியாத் அகசியாவின் சகோதரி. அத்தாலியாள் யோவாசைக் கொல்லவில்லை. காரணம் அவன் மறைக்கப்பட்டான்.

ஆனால், அரசனின் மகள் யோசபியாத்து,* கொல்லப்படவிருந்த அரச புதல்வர்களுள் அகசியாவின் மகன் யோவாசைத் தூக்கிக் கொண்டுபோய் அவனையும் அவன் செவிலித் தாயையும் படுக்கையறையில் மறைத்து வைத்தாள். இந்த யோசபியாத்து, அரசன் யோராமின் மகளும் தலைமைக் குரு யோயாதாவின் மனைவியும் அகசியாவின் சகோதரியும் ஆவாள். அவள் யோவாசை அத்தலியாவிடமிருந்து மறைத்ததால் அவளால் அவனைக் கொல்ல இயலவில்லை.
