அப்பொழுது தான் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசகேலோடு யுத்தமபண்ணுகையில், தன்னை அவர்கள் ராமாவிலே வெட்டின காயங்களை யெஸ்ரெயேலிலே ஆற்றிக்கொள்ள அவன் திரும்பினான், அப்பொழுது ஆகாபின் குமாரனாகிய யோராம் வியாதியாயிருந்தபடியினால் தாவீதின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் குமாரன் அகசியா, யெஸ்ரெயேலிலிருக்கிற அவனைப் பார்க்கிறதற்குப் போனான்.

அப்பொழுது, தான் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசகேலோடு போர்செய்யும்போது, தன்னை அவர்கள் ராமாவிலே வெட்டின காயங்களை யெஸ்ரெயேலிலே ஆற்றிக்கொள்ள அவன் திரும்பினான்; அப்பொழுது ஆகாபின் மகனாகிய யோராம் வியாதியாயிருந்ததால் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் மகன் அகசியா, யெஸ்ரெயேலிலிருக்கிற அவனைப் பார்க்கப் போனான்.

யோராம் தன்னைக் குணப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள யெஸ்ரெயேல் நகரத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப் போனான். இவன் ஆராம் அரசனான ஆசகேலுக்கு எதிராக ராமோத்தில் சண்டையிட்டபோது இக்காயங்களை அடைந்தான். பிறகு யோராமைப் பார்க்க அகசியா யெஸ்ரெயேல் நகரத்திற்கு சென்றான். அகசியாவின் தந்தையின் பெயர் யோராம். இவன் யூதாவின் அரசன். யோராமின் தந்தையின் பெயர் ஆகாப். யோராம் காயம்பட்டதால் யெஸ்ரெயேல் நகரத்தில் இருந்தான்.

சிரியா அரசன் அசாவேலுடன் இராமாவில்* போரிட்டபோது தனக்கு ஏற்பட்ட காயங்களைக் குணப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள யோராம் இஸ்ரயேலுக்குத் திரும்பினான். ஆகாபின் மகன் யோராம் நோயுற்றிருந்ததைக் காண்பதற்காக யூதாவின் அரசனும் யோராமின் மகனுமான அகசியா இஸ்ரயேலுக்குச் சென்றான்.
