தாவீது கட்டளையிட்டபிரகாரம் சந்தோஷத்தோடும் சங்கீதத்தோடும் கர்த்தரின் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளை மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியே செலுத்தத்தக்கதாக, யோய்தா கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தை விசாரிக்கும் உத்தியோகங்களைத் தாவீது கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்கென்று பகுத்துவைத்த லேவியரான ஆசாரியர்களின் கையில் ஒப்புவித்து,

பிறகு கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயப் பொறுப்புக்கான ஆசாரியர்களை யோய்தா தேர்ந்தெடுத்தான். அவர்கள் லேவியர்களாக இருந்தனர். தாவீதே அவர்களுக்கு கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயப் பொறுப்பினைக் கொடுத்துள்ளார். மோசேயின் சட்டத்தின்படியே அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலிகளைத் தந்தனர். தாவீதின் கட்டளைபடியே அவர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியோடு பாடியவண்ணம் காணிக்கைகளைத் தந்தனர்.

ஆண்டவரின் இல்லத்தைக் கண்காணிப்போராக தாவீதின் நியமனத்தின்படி லேவிய குருவை யோயாதா நியமித்தார். அவர்கள் மோசேயின் திருச்சட்டத்தில் எழுதியிருந்தவாறு எரிபலிகளை ஆண்டவருக்குச் செலுத்தி, தாவீதின் சொற்படி ஆர்ப்பரித்துப் பாட வேண்டும் என்று கட்டளையிட்டார்.
