அந்தச் சபையார் எல்லாரும் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் ராஜாவோடே உடன்படிக்கை செய்தார்கள்; யோய்தா அவர்களை நோக்கி: இதோ, கர்த்தர் தாவீதின் குமாரரைக் குறித்துச் சொன்னபடியே ராஜாவின் குமாரன் ராஜாவாக வேண்டும்.

அந்த சபையார் எல்லோரும் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் ராஜாவோடு உடன்படிக்கை செய்தார்கள்; யோய்தா அவர்களை நோக்கி: இதோ, கர்த்தர் தாவீதின் மகன்களைக்குறித்து சொன்னபடியே ராஜாவின் மகன் ராஜாவாக வேண்டும்.

அனைத்து ஜனங்களும் கூடி, தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் அரசனோடு ஒரு ஒப்பந்தம் செய்துக்கொண்டனர். யோய்தா அவர்களிடம், “அரசனது மகன் ஆட்சி செய்வான். இதுதான் தாவீதின் சந்ததியினரைக் குறித்துக் கர்த்தர் வாக்களித்தது.

சபையார் யாவரும் கடவுளின் இல்லத்தில் யோவாசுடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்துகொண்டனர். யோயாதா அவர்களை நோக்கி, “இதோ! அரசனின் மைந்தன்! தாவீதின் புதல்வர்களைக் குறித்து ஆண்டவர் கூறியபடியே, அவன் அரசாள்வான்.
