அந்தப் பொல்லாத ஸ்திரீயாகிய அத்தாலியாளுடைய மக்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தைப் பலவந்தமாய்த் திறந்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலுள்ள பிரதிஷ்டை பண்ணப்பட்டவைகளையெல்லாம் பாகால்களுக்காகச் செலவுபண்ணிப்போட்டார்களே என்றான்.

அந்தப் பொல்லாத பெண்ணாகிய அத்தாலியாளுடைய மக்கள், தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தை வலுக்கட்டாயமாகத் திறந்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலுள்ள பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டவைகளையெல்லாம் பாகால்களுக்காக செலவு செய்துவிட்டார்களே என்றான்.

முற்காலத்தில் அத்தாலியாளின் மகன்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குள் உடைத்துக் கொண்டுசென்றார்கள். அவர்கள் இங்குள்ள பரிசுத்தமானப் பொருட்களை எல்லாம் கொண்டுபோய் பாகால் ஆலயத்தில் பயன்படுத்தினார்கள். அத்தாலியாள் மிகவும் தீயப் பெண்.

அந்தத் தீய பெண் அத்தலியாவும் அவளுடைய புதல்வர்களும் கடவுளின் இல்லத்தினுள் வன்முறையாய் நுழைந்து, ஆண்டவரின் இல்லத்துப் புனிதப் பொருள்களையெல்லாம் கொள்ளையிட்டு அவற்றைப் பாகால்களுக்காகப் பயன்படுத்தினர்” என்றார்.⒫
