ராஜாவாகிய உசியாவோடு எதிர்த்துநின்று: உசியாவே, கர்த்தருக்குத் தூபங்காட்டுகிறது உமக்கு அடுத்ததல்ல; தூபங்காட்டுகிறது பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்ட ஆரோனின் குமாரராகிய ஆசாரியருக்கே அடுக்கும்; பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை விட்டுவெளியே போம்; மீறுதல் செய்தீர்; இது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராலே உமக்கு மேன்மையாக லபியாது என்றார்கள்.

ராஜாவாகிய உசியாவோடு எதிர்த்து நின்று: உசியாவே, கர்த்தருக்குத் தூபங்காட்டுகிறது உமக்குரியதல்ல; தூபங்காட்டுகிறது பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்ட ஆரோனின் மகன்களாகிய ஆசாரியர்களுக்கே உரியது; பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை விட்டு வெளியே போம்; மீறுதல் செய்தீர்; இது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராலே உமக்கு மேன்மையாக இருக்காது என்றார்கள்.

அவர்கள் உசியாவின் தவறுகளை எடுத்துச் சொன்னார்கள். அவர்கள் அவனிடம், “உசியாவே, கர்த்தருக்குத் தூபம் காட்டுவது உனது வேலையல்ல. இவ்வாறு செய்வது உனக்கு நல்லதன்று. இந்த ஆசாரியர்கள் பரிசுத்தமான நறுமணப்பொருட்களை எரிப்பதற்குப் பயிற்சிப் பெற்றவர்கள். ஆசாரியர்களும் ஆரோனின் சந்ததியார் மட்டுமே இதனைச் செய்யவேண்டும். மகா பரிசுத்தமான இடத்தை விட்டு வெளியே போ, நீ உண்மையுள்ளவனாக இல்லை. இதற்காக தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உம்மை கனம் பண்ணமாட்டார்” என்றனர்.
