தேவனுடைய தரிசனங்களில் புத்திமானாயிருந்த சகரியாவின் நாட்களிலே தேவனைத் தேட மனதிணங்கியிருந்தான்; அவன் கர்த்தரைத் தேடின நாட்களில் தேவன் அவன் காரியங்களை வாய்க்கச் செய்தார்.

தேவனுடைய தரிசனங்களில் புத்திமானாயிருந்த சகரியாவின் நாட்களிலே தேவனைத் தேட மனதுள்ளவனாக இருந்தான்; அவன் கர்த்தரைத் தேடின நாட்களில் தேவன் அவனுடைய காரியங்களை வாய்க்கச் செய்தார்.

சகரியாவின் வாழ்நாளிலே உசியா தேவனைப் பின்பற்றினான். சகரியா அவனுக்கு எவ்வாறு தேவனுக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்துவது என்பதைப்பற்றியும் தேவனுக்கு கீழ்ப்படிவது பற்றியும் சொல்லித்தந்தான். உசியா கர்த்தரிடம் கீழ்ப்படிந்து இருந்தவரை தேவனும் அவனுக்கு வெற்றியைத் தந்தார்.

திருவிவிலியம்
இறையச்சத்தில் தன்னைப் பயிற்றுவித்த செக்கரியாவின் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும், உசியா கடவுளையே நாடினான். அவன் ஆண்டவரைத் தேடிய காலமெல்லாம் கடவுள் அவனுக்கு வெற்றியை அளித்தார்.⒫
