அப்பொழுது எப்பிராயீம் புத்திரரின் தலைவரில் சிலபேராகிய யோகனானின் குமாரன் அசரியாவும், மெஷிலெமோத்தின் குமாரன் பெரகியாவும், சல்லூமின் குமாரன் எகிஸ்கியாவும், அத்லாயின் குமாரன் அமாசாவும் யுத்தத்திலிருந்து வந்தவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்பி,

பிறகு எப்பிராயீம் தலைவர்கள், இஸ்ரவேல் வீரர்கள் போர்க்களத்திலிருந்து வீட்டிற்குத் திரும்புவதைப் பார்த்தனர். அந்தத் தலைவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் வீரர்களைச் சந்தித்து எச்சரிக்கைச் செய்தனர். யோகனானின் மகன் அசரியா, மெஷிலேமோத்தின் மகனான பெரகியா, சல்லூமின் மகனான எகிஸ்கியா, அத்லாயின் மகனான அமாசா ஆகியோர் அந்தத் தலைவர்களாகும்.
