பெலிஸ்தரும் யூதாவிலே சமபூமியிலும் தெற்கேயும் இருக்கிற பட͠Οணங்களின்மேல் விழுந்து, பெĠύஷிமேசையும், ஆயலோனையுமύ, கெதெΰோத்தையும், சொக்கோவைίும் அதின் கிராமங்களையும், திம்னாவையம் அதின் கிராமங்களையும், கிம்சோவையும் அதின் கிராமங்களையும் பிடித்து அங்கே குடியேறினார்கள்.

பெலிஸ்தர்களும் மலைநாட்டு நகரங்களையும் யூதாவின் தென் பகுதியையும் தாக்கினார்கள். இவர்கள் பெத்ஷிமேஸ், ஆயலேன், கெதெரோத், சொக்கோ, திம்னா மற்றம் கிம்சோ ஆகிய ஊர்களைக் கைப்பற்றினார்கள். மேலும் அவர்கள் அந்த ஊர்களுக்கு அருகிலிருந்த கிராமங்களையும் கைப்பற்றினார்கள் பிறகு பெலிஸ்தியர்கள் அந்த ஊர்களில் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.
