ஆலயத்திற்கு முன்னாக முப்பத்தைந்துமுழ உயரமான இரண்டுதூண்களையும், அவைகளுடைய முனைகளின்மேலிருக்கும் ஐந்துமுழ உயரமான கும்பங்களையும் உண்டாக்கி,

சாலொமோன் ஆலயத்திற்கு முன்னால் இரண்டு தூண்களை அமைத்தான். அவற்றின் உயரம் 35 முழமாகும். அவற்றின் மேல் முனையில் 5 முழ உயர கும்பங்களையும் வைத்தான்.
