இந்த எசேக்கியா கீயோன் என்னும் ஆற்றிலே அணைகட்டி, அதின் தண்ணீரை மேற்கேயிருந்து தாழத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திற்கு நேராகத் திருப்பினான்; எசேக்கியா செய்ததெல்லாம் வாய்த்தது.

எசேக்கியா கீகோன் என்னும் ஆற்றிலே அணையைக் கட்டினான். அந்த நீரை மேற்கேயிருந்து தாழ தாவீதின் நகரத்திற்குத் திரும்பினான். அவனது செயல்கள் அனைத்திலும் வெற்றிபெற்றான்.

எசேக்கியா கீகோன் ஆற்றின் மேற்புறத்தில் அணைகட்டி, தாவீது நகரின் மேற்குப் பகுதியின் கீழே திருப்பிவிட்டார். எசேக்கியா தம் முயற்சிகள் அனைத்திலும் வெற்றி கண்டார்.
